Position: Desktop Support and Logistics Technician
Location: Pentagon (100% ONSITE)
Duration: Long Term Contract (W2 Hourly)
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, normal business hours

Pay Rate: $37.76/hr. (BASE) + $5.09/hr. (SCA Rate) = $42.85/hr. (SET RATE)

Job SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on IT Desktop Support & Logistics Technician to support end users with day-to-day desktop needs while also managing IT equipment logistics and inventory. This is a hybrid role with desktop support as the primary responsibility and IT logistics as a secondary focus.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop Support (Primary)- Desktop Support Team handles approximately 18,000 NIPR desktops, laptops, and tablets/iPads and iPhones; approximately 3,500-4,000 SIPR desktops; and all printers connected to the network
- Install, configure, and connect computers, monitors, KVMs, and related peripherals
- Support basic computer and networking setups, including device connectivity and workstation readiness
- Issue computers and IT assets to users, ensuring proper configuration and documentation
- Update and manage support tickets in ServiceNow or Remedy
- Participate in computer office standups and daily support coordination
IT Logistics & Asset Management (Secondary)- Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and assets
- Track stock levels of monitors, laptops, peripherals, and related hardware
- Ensure proper storage, organization, and availability of IT equipment
- Support logistics-related tasks tied to onboarding, offboarding, and equipment refreshes
Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. - Experience in desktop support or IT support roles
- Familiarity with computer hardware, peripherals, and basic networking concepts
- Hands-on experience setting up and connecting workstations and devices
- Strong organizational skills with attention to inventory accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a hybrid environment
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience with IT asset management or logistics
- Comfortable discussing technical information with users and other support personnel.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and IT concepts.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as an integral member of a team.
