Quality Assurance Tester Intern

Required Skill

• will directly contribute to the product quality of assigned product line(s) by testing and reporting defects of new and updated software programs
• is assigned to one product line full-time and may be assigned to other products as backup

Essential Duties:

• Executes manual test cases
• Reviews test scripts/cases
• Learns new software as assigned.
• Learns new test tools as required
• Reports defects found during testing or reported by Technical Support
• Participates in assigned meetings for assigned product line
• Possesses good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Works In Office 2 days per week minimum, may work from home the other days

SECURITY AND PRIVACY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Individuals working for DSS, Inc. or any Subsidiary will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.

• Has verifiable experience with Microsoft Office Products

Education:

Required: Currently in college with intent to graduate with Computer Science related degree

Experience:

Required: Up to 1 year experience in a similar role or related position (consideration will be given to new grads, trainees, Veterans with appropriate educational credentials and/or DSS experience)
