Job Description:

Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to build and maintain shared infrastructure and middleware technology that supports development across multiple titles
• Key projects: This role will contribute to execution, stabilization, and performance improvement across CI/CD systems and development pipelines. You will work within an established Production Technology team to ensure builds are reliable, fast, and scalable for ongoing development. This is a hands-on implementation role, not an ownership or architecture position.

Candidate Requirements

• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience working on large-scale build systems for games, and experience supporting external partners remotely & experience with large-scale game build systems or external partner support.

We are seeking experienced build engineers to support our build systems and content pipelines as we engage in multiple product development schedules.

Build Systems Execution

Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and build configurations

Debug and resolve build failures, breakages, and inconsistencies

Optimize build performance, caching, and parallelization

Support branching, merging, and release workflows

Implement and maintain asset and data pipelines

Support tooling used by engineering, art, and design teams

Troubleshoot pipeline issues impacting developer workflows

Stability & Reliability

Monitor and improve build reliability and success rates

Identify and fix systemic pipeline issues

Improve logging, diagnostics, and debuggability

Collaboration

Work with full-time engineers, DevOps, and the Technical Architect

Execute against well-defined tasks and priorities

Provide clear updates on progress, blockers, and risks
