Events Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Events Project Manager with a strong background in trade show style events and exhibits. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event logistics, project management, team leadership, and working with major trade exposition companies. This role requires someone who can plan, execute, and oversee complex events from start to finish while ensuring high-quality execution and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and execute trade show style events and exhibits from concept through completion.
• Manage shipping and receiving logistics, including direct-to-site shipping, advanced warehouse shipping, overnight shipping, and event-to-event shipping.
• Coordinate with major trade exposition companies to purchase materials and services, manage relationships, and oversee logistics.
• Lead and manage large event teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful event execution.
• Apply best practices for demonstrations, exhibit spaces, and attendee engagement to maximize impact.
• Utilize project management and planning software to track timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Develop, implement, and maintain event checklists, inventory systems, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure event goals align with organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent from a four-year college.
• Minimum of seven years of professional experience managing trade show style events and exhibits.
• Expert-level experience with project management/planning software.
• Demonstrated expertise in shipping and receiving logistics.
• Proven experience working with major trade exposition companies.
• Professional-level experience managing large teams.
• In-depth knowledge of current best practices for demonstrations and exhibit spaces.
