Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ERP Order-to-Cash (O2C) & Project-to-Close (P2C) Techno-Functional Leader to drive the Phoenix ERP transformation program on Oracle Fusion Cloud (with coexistence with Oracle E-Business Suit.
This role will own the end-to-end O2C and Project/Program financial lifecycle, from order capture and billing through project setup, capitalization, revenue recognition, and project close.
You will partner with Sales Operations, Finance, Project Management, and Supply Chain to design, implement, and optimize scalable processes and systems that support project-based manufacturing, complex commercial models, and global growth.
The ideal candidate combines deep ERP expertise, strong project accounting / P2C knowledge, and proven experience leading large-scale ERP programs from project initiation through hypercare and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead ERP O2C & P2C Implementations
Provide technical leadership and functional oversight for O2C and Project-to-Close workstreams
Lead the full project lifecycle: discovery, design, configuration, integration, data conversion, testing, deployment, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
Own the end-to-end solution across O2C and P2C, ensuring process, data, and control alignment from quote/order to project close and financial reporting.
Solution Architecture & Configuration
Act as techno-functional SME for:
O2C modules: Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, Shipping, Receivables, Collections, Billing, and Revenue Management.
P2C / Project Finance modules: Projects/Project Portfolio Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Capital Projects, Revenue Management, and related GL integrations.
Configure, extend, and support O2C and P2C modules; design and troubleshoot customizations, reports, extensions, and interfaces.
Enable project- and contract-level profitability analysis, WIP management, and capital vs. expense treatment.
Support reporting and analytics for order pipeline, project performance, revenue, and margin.
Project-to-Close Process Ownership
Define and optimize project lifecycle processes:
Project and contract setup, structures, and work breakdown
Budgeting, forecasting, and funding
Time, cost, and expense capture
Capitalization, depreciation, and asset transfer
Revenue recognition and project billing
Project close and post-project analysis
Ensure P2C processes support project-based manufacturing, SaaS/recurring, and hybrid models across global entities.
Partner Across Stakeholders
Collaborate with functional leadership, system integrators, and ERP vendors to assess business requirements, design and implement scalable solutions.
System Optimization, Rollouts & Hypercare
Recommend approaches to close system gaps across O2C and P2C; design phased rollout strategies by region, business unit, or portfolio.
Lead O2C and P2C tracks through conference room pilots, SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
Continuously refine processes and configuration based on user feedback, KPIs, and control requirements.
Integration Oversight
Partner with internal developers and integration teams to design, test, and deploy integrations between ERP and other boundary applications.
Data Migration & Cutover
Develop and validate data conversion strategies for O2C and P2C:
Define and execute cutover plans that minimize risk to order processing and financial close.
Program Governance & Quality
Establish and enforce best practices for design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation across O2C and P2C.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
Technology Innovation
Stay current with emerging technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, to enhance O2C and P2C automation, forecasting, and analytics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (Master s preferred).
15+ years of IT/ERP experience with deep expertise in **Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion
10+ years of hands-on O2C experience (Order Management, Shipping, Billing, AR, Revenue Management).
7+ years of Project Accounting / Project-to-Close experience, including project setup, costing, billing, capital projects, and revenue recognition.
Strong functional knowledge of project-based manufacturing, SaaS/recurring billing, leasing, and complex commercial structures in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
Deep technical knowledge to design and implement these processes in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
Demonstrated leadership in large ERP programs, including management of cross-functional teams, system integrators, and ERP vendors.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and program delivery skills; able to operate at both executive and detail levels.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and highly collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in renewable energy, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
Hands-on configuration of O2C and P2C modules (e.g., Order Management, Billing, AR, Projects, Project Costing, Project Billing, Revenue Management) in Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
Track record as part of a successful ERP transformation program, ideally leading both O2C and P2C workstreams through go-live and stabilization.
Certifications such as PMP, CPA/Chartered Accountant, Six Sigma, or ERP vendor credentials (Oracle).
