SQL Tableau Software Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a SQL Tableau Software Developer in Greenwood Village, CO.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst/Tableau Specialist to join a fast-paced analytics team focused on ad hoc reporting and data-driven insights. This role will serve as a key contributor and subject matter expert, supporting complex analysis initiatives and helping guide decision-making during a large-scale integration effort.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, develop dashboards, and lead ad hoc analysis efforts-particularly around customer data and business impact.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute ad hoc data analysis to support strategic business initiatives
* Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reports
* Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
* Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights
* Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions
* Communicate findings clearly through written reports and presentations
* Support data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation efforts
* Contribute to ongoing analytics projects, including large-scale data integrations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases (including normalization concepts)
* Proven experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting
* Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems
* Experience working with ad hoc queries and exploratory data analysis
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Python for data analysis or automation
* Familiarity with big data tools or environments (e.g., Hive, Spark)
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
* Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git)
* Exposure to SDLC processes or data pipeline development
* Experience with additional reporting/analysis tools (e.g., Kibana, advanced Excel/PivotTables)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
