Description
We are looking for a skilled Production Artist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will play a critical part in creating high-quality print and digital materials, ensuring designs are production-ready and meet industry standards. If you are passionate about design and have expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, this opportunity is ideal for you.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and finalize artwork for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and adjust designs for various print and digital formats.
Collaborate with team members to maintain consistency and quality across projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, ensuring smooth workflows.
Ensure all designs are optimized for print production, including color correction and file preparation.
Follow brand guidelines and ensure all deliverables align with established standards.
Communicate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in production design.
Maintain organized files and documentation for all projects.
Requirements
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
Strong knowledge of print production processes and best practices.
Proven experience in preparing designs for both print and digital formats.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and vendors.
Familiarity with troubleshooting production issues and optimizing workflows.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role is preferred.
