About the Job We are seeking four (4) experienced Software Engineers to join a State Government Agency. In this role, you will develop advanced software solutions by studying information needs, collaborating with users, and analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes. You will be responsible for investigating problem areas and installing solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
All work products resulting from this project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the client. Responsibilities - Write, test, debug, and document complex programs, including client/server and web-based applications using C# (.NET), Blazor, and SQL.
- Design, develop, and implement specialized programs to supplement and enhance front- and back-end web-based application software using HTML5, CSS, C# .NET Blazor, SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Collaborate closely with systems analysts, architects, and various business areas to gather and validate requirements, understand technical limitations, and model solutions.
- Provide application support through problem diagnosis and implement changes to resolve issues and maintain software at the most current level.
- Develop mobile applications using Visual Studio 2022, .NET Core 9.0, and DevExpress tools, including implementing secure and seamless payment acceptance functionality.
- Perform the research and analysis required for specialized programs or routines.
- Recommend improvements to processes for application development projects as needed.
- Perform other technical duties as assigned by the project team.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or higher
- 4+ years of experience in the development of web-based software applications
- 4+ years of experience performing root cause analysis and resolution
- 4+ years of experience programming in various coding languages including .NET, HTML/HTML5, ASP, Java, JSP, .NET/C#, SQL, and stored procedures
- 4+ years of experience and proficiency in web programming using .NET/C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server
- 3+ years of experience with Agile SDLC methodology and performing a variety of SDLC-related tasks within a team setting
- 3+ years of experience in intra-team collaboration for requirements gathering, software development, modifications, and maintenance
- 3+ years of experience presenting in-person software application change demonstrations for the purpose of seeking customer approval on proposed designs
- 2+ years of experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
- 1+ year of experience programming in C# .NET Blazor
Preferred Qualifications - Experience porting existing codebases from Java to C# .NET Blazor
- Experience and knowledge of responsive web design practices and implementation
- Experience and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and implementation
- Previous experience working directly with the client's internal systems
