Service Desk Technician

Contract Length: 12+ months (with strong opportunity for extension or conversion)

  • Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Location: Onsite - Oshkosh, WI

Position Overview

We are seeking a Service Desk Technician to join an in-house Help Desk team supporting a growing enterprise user base. This role is a 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension and consideration for full-time conversion as service desk operations transition from a managed service partner back in house.
The Service Desk Technician will provide level-one support for end users via phone, email, and chat. The environment includes a high ticket volume related to an ongoing Microsoft 365 migration, along with common service desk requests and incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for end users via phone, email, and chat
  • Manage and resolve incidents and requests using the ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues, access requests, and account-related concerns
  • Support Active Directory tasks such as password resets and user access
  • Perform basic break/fix troubleshooting for hardware and applications
  • Support SAP-related tickets at a basic triage level
  • Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining SLA expectations

Required / Desired Skills

  • Help Desk / Service Desk support experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience supporting Windows environments
  • Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 support
  • Active Directory fundamentals
  • Ticketing system experience (ServiceNow preferred)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
