3+ years of QA automation experience, hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Must have: Copado Robotics.
Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
Job Description
We are looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. This position will be a contract and remote in the US.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
Execute automated and manual test cycles, document results, and log defects in the tracking syste
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot test failures
Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, daily standups, and other Agile team activities
Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and traceability records
Report test coverage, testing outcomes, and quality metrics to project leadership
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes and quality assurance standards
Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues while working closely with development teams
What You'll Need
Required:
Specific test automation tools and framework requirements by Copado Robotics
3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation
Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
Experience developing automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages used for test automation
Experience with defect tracking and test case management tools
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work onsite in Delaware as required by the client
Preferred:
Experience testing robotics, embedded systems, or hardware-integrated software
Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines
Experience with version control systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
