Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Technology Project Manager to lead complex, technology-driven initiatives across
network infrastructure, VoIP and unified communications, contact center platforms, managed services, and cloud services. This role requires strong leadership, technical fluency, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams delivering large-scale, mission-critical solutions for enterprise and public-sector customers.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully managing multi-vendor, multi-workstream projects, balancing technical depth with executive-level communication and stakeholder management.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Delivery- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects, from initiation and planning through execution, deployment, and transition to operations.
- Manage concurrent projects involving network upgrades, VoIP/UC deployments, call center platforms (e.g., Genesys, AWS, Google, Cisco, Microsoft), managed services onboarding, and cloud migrations.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and dependency tracking.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality and compliance standards.
Stakeholder & Customer Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, executive sponsors, internal leadership, and technical teams.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable updates for non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate steering committees, status meetings, and executive briefings.
- Proactively manage expectations and resolve escalations.
Technical & Cross-Functional Coordination- Coordinate across engineering, network operations, security, cloud, service delivery, and vendor teams.
- Understand and manage dependencies across WAN/LAN, wireless, SIP/VoIP, contact center applications, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), and monitoring/managed services.
- Oversee solution handoff to operations and managed services teams, ensuring operational readiness.
Risk, Issue & Change Management- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, technical constraints, and resource conflicts.
- Manage change control processes and ensure alignment with contractual and operational requirements.
- Drive issue resolution and root-cause analysis for delivery challenges.
Governance, Compliance & Documentation- Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Maintain accurate documentation including project charters, SOWs, RAID logs, and acceptance criteria.
- Support compliance requirements for regulated environments (e.g., government, healthcare, or financial services).
Required QualificationsExperience- 5+ years of project management experience delivering technology infrastructure and services projects.
- Must have experience in working in SLED
- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving:
- Network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, wireless, routing, switching)
- VoIP and Unified Communications (Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Webex, SIP)
- Contact center platforms (Genesys, Cisco, cloud contact centers)
- Managed services and operational transition
- Cloud services and migrations
Skills & Knowledge- Strong understanding of enterprise IT and telecommunications architectures.
- Proven ability to manage multi-vendor and third-party environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong financial management skills (budgeting, forecasting, cost control).
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
Certifications (Preferred)- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification
- ITIL Foundation or higher
- Agile / Scrum certification
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) a plus
Education (Preferred)- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
