• Title: Senior Business Analyst
• Location: 2 days onsite in Celebration, FL, subject to change 
• Contract: W2 only, 22month contract with potential for conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
• Pay: $55-65/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview

This role involves leading business analysis and requirements management for complex, cross-functional initiatives within a highly matrixed environment. The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a strategic partner, translating business needs into actionable solutions to support large-scale projects and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements across multiple lines of business.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs for development and implementation teams.
• Gather, prioritize, and manage requirements for large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and programs.
• Serve as a primary liaison between business partners and technical teams to ensure alignment on objectives, scope, and outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners in a highly matrixed environment.
• Communicate insights, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations through clear written documentation and executive-level presentations.
• Analyze current-state business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Recommend and support implementation of solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and business value.
• Develop business cases and narratives to support proposed initiatives and investments.
• Support business analysis activities across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery through implementation and sustainment.
• Partner with program, project, and portfolio managers on planning, scope definition, timelines, and budget alignment.
• Identify, escalate, and support mitigation of risks and issues impacting delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role supporting complex, technology-enabled initiatives.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a large, matrixed enterprise environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear business language.
• Experience supporting software development, digital platforms, or enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery methodologies.
• Experience with data platforms, reporting tools, or analytics solutions.
• Proven ability to influence without authority and drive stakeholder alignment.
• Experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior analysts or team members.
