Position: GMCB Enterprise Architecture support
Location: Remote with once a month Onsite in Vermont
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description:
Core Responsibilities
The Enterprise Architect will:
provide weekly status reports to the Deputy Director for Enterprise Architecture,
attend an agreed number of informational and status meetings,
call and lead discussions when appropriate,
participate in design sessions with State Enterprise Architects,
participate in business-sponsored meetings, steering committees, project management discussions, and meetings with State IT executives, agency program managers, and other consultants,
use State-provided tools such as a State-issued computer, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps, and office space if needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications The Enterprise Architect must have:
experience working within an architecture framework such as TOGAF or FEAF,
experience in at least two architecture domains: Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Information/Data Architecture, and Technology Architecture,
excellent oral and written communication skills,
ability to work within a team,
ability to meet shifting deadlines.
Professional and Compliance Requirements Assigned personnel must:
behave professionally,
be employees of the contractor, not independent contractors at the time State work is performed,
be eligible for employment in the United States,
pass required criminal background checks,
comply with all State system, confidentiality, and security requirements,
use only State-provided systems, equipment, and email for work under the SOW.
