Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior ServiceNow Engineer in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Design, execute, and document manual and automated testing across ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations
* Lead functional, regression, integration, upgrade, and API testing for ITSM, Service Catalog, CSDM, and ITOM
* Build and maintain automation frameworks using ATF, Selenium, and related tools
* Own the defect lifecycle, including tracking, root cause analysis, and preventive actions
* Define and execute upgrade and patch testing strategies with minimal disruption
* Configure and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and UI Policies
* Manage update sets, migrations, integrations (REST, SOAP, Integration Hub), and CI/CD pipeline contributions
* Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and product owners to ensure testable, high-quality solutions
* Mentor junior engineers and promote QA standards, automation adoption, and continuous improvement
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively with global teams
* Champion a quality-first mindset across engineering and business stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; ServiceNow CSA/CAD/CIS and ITIL certifications preferred
* 8+ years of software testing/development experience, including 4+ years on the ServiceNow platform
* Strong expertise in manual and automated testing using ATF, Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI, and REST Assured
* Hands-on ServiceNow development and scripting experience (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, Catalog Scripts)
* Experience across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, CSDM, Discovery, and Event Management
* Proven experience with API testing, integrations, update set migration, and ServiceNow development lifecycle
* Strong knowledge of upgrade lifecycle, patch testing, and end-to-end defect management
* Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and test/defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent)
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk-assessment skills with a focus on enforcing QA standards
* Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and collaborate effectively in fast-paced Agile environments
* Proven experience working in offshore/onshore delivery models with global, cross-time-zone teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
