  • Support modernization and migration initiatives by enabling cloud-native infrastructure and platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and networking teams to establish foundational services, including load balancing, routing, and firewall integrations.
Multi-Tenant Platform Enablement
  • Design platform capabilities that support secure onboarding and operation of 70+ tenant applications.
  • Define resource allocation models, access management patterns, and operational standards for tenant environments.
  • Partner with application and data engineering teams to optimize adoption and platform usability.
Observability & Reliability
  • Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding solutions that provide visibility into platform health and performance.
  • Establish operational best practices for incident response, reliability engineering, and service availability.
  • Drive continuous improvements in platform observability and operational excellence.
Automation & DevOps
  • Create infrastructure and platform automation using Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps methodologies.
  • Develop automated deployment, provisioning, and lifecycle management solutions.
  • Support CI/CD and platform release processes to improve delivery velocity and reliability.
Security & Compliance
  • Implement enterprise-grade security controls, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Design secure network communication patterns and access controls within Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
  • Partner with security teams to align platform capabilities with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms in enterprise environments.
  • Experience administering Linux systems in production environments.
  • Experience designing and implementing platform observability solutions.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating across infrastructure, security, networking, and application engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with OpenShift platform administration and engineering.
  • Experience with object storage technologies.
  • Experience supporting distributed execution engines such as Apache Spark or Trino.
  • Experience with modern table formats including Apache Iceberg and Apache Hive.
  • Experience with metadata and data lineage platforms such as DataHub.
  • Experience with observability tools including:
    • Grafana
    • Prometheus
    • BigPanda
    • PagerDuty
    • ThousandEyes
  • Experience with:
    • Terraform
    • Helm
    • GitOps practices
    • Argo CD
  • Experience working with ServiceNow for operational workflows and change management.
Nice to Have
  • Experience designing and enforcing OpenShift ingress and egress controls.
  • Experience implementing secure north-south traffic patterns in Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with load balancing and traffic routing for highly available services.
  • Experience implementing network segmentation and tenant isolation strategies in multi-tenant platforms.
  • Experience creating and enforcing Kubernetes/OpenShift Network Policies using default-deny and least-privilege principles.
  • Experience with NexusOne or similar emerging platform technologies.
Key Characteristics
  • Strong systems-thinking and platform engineering mindset.
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Passion for automation, reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
