Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager to join a PMO team. This role will be responsible for managing multiple projects end-to-end. The ideal candidate will possess a strong product mindset, a proactive attitude, an interest in gaming, and a desire to deliver value in a fast-paced marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the execution of medium-risk and strategic projects, ensuring alignment with objectives.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, conduct regular status meetings, and provide detailed reports on project progress and risks.
- Keep stakeholders informed via Slack, email, and meetings.
- Submit updates on time for the Program TPM's weekly status draft.
- Communicate clearly for a non-technical executive audience.
- Provide weekly ups and downs suitable for business leaders, having that audience in mind.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and manage resources.
- Drive the definition of project governance structures and participate in project leadership meetings.
- Anticipate risks, drive contingency planning, and resolve roadblocks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and lead teams to create an atmosphere of trust and innovation.
- Adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines within a dynamic project environment.
- Contribute to the continuing maturation of project management methodologies.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 4+ years of experience in a project management role, managing multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
- At least 12 months of experience in a large enterprise environment.
- At least 6-12 months of experience working within an IT environment.
- Solid understanding of hybrid project management environments, including traditional/waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Experience leading Scrum Ceremonies
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Jira and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills and proactivity with an ownership of results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, project management, business, or a similar field.
- PMP, CAPM, or Agile certifications (e.g., from Agile Alliance, Scrum Alliance).
- Experience in managing gaming events or similar projects.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies such as AWS or Azure, REST APIs, JavaScript, and Active Directory.
- An interest or passion for gaming or related entertainment products.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $70.00/hr - $80.00/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, experience, and skills.
