About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Holtec Saw Operator to support our production team by operating automated saw equipment used in truss manufacturing.
This position is critical to maintaining accurate lumber cuts and supporting efficient plant workflow. The Holtec Saw Operator ensures materials are cut to exact specifications, production schedules stay on track, and safety standards are upheld at all times.

What You'll Do- Operate Holtec automated saw equipment to cut lumber according to production specifications
- Read and interpret cutting lists and production documents accurately
- Monitor saw performance to ensure precision and minimize waste
- Inspect materials before and after cutting for quality and accuracy
- Maintain proper workflow to support truss assembly stations
- Perform routine equipment checks and report mechanical concerns promptly
- Follow all OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete required PQS training modules and demonstrate competency
Requirements:
What We're Looking For- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment
- Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
- Ability to follow written production documents and instructions
- Commitment to safety and proper machine operation
- Ability to work independently within a team-based production environment
- Willingness to complete 30-day qualification training program
- Previous manufacturing, saw operation, or carpentry experience preferred (training provided)
Physical Requirements- Frequently standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 lbs. (occasionally more with assistance)
- Strong depth perception and spatial awareness
- Ability to use hands and arms repeatedly for material handling
- Comfortable working in loud production environments
Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to equipment noise, sawdust, and moving machinery.
