About the Role

Looking for a hands-on job where you can stay active and build a skillset?
We're hiring a Lumber Picker to join our production team. You'll go through a structured 30-day training program with a mentor, learning how to pull materials, support production, and operate equipment safely.
This is a physical, fast-paced role that plays a key part in keeping production moving across the plant.
If you like working with your hands and being part of a team, this is a strong opportunity to get started and grow.
What You'll Do
Pull and stage lumber based on production needs and cut lists
Read and follow basic work orders and material lists
Load, move, and organize materials across the plant
Operate forklifts and equipment (training provided if needed)
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
Work with your team to keep production running efficiently

Requirements:

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
No prior truss experience required - training provided
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift experience, especially with lumber or building materials
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or production environment
Basic understanding of measurements and material handling
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in all seasons
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
Compensation details: 17-19 Hourly Wage
