Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Lansing, MI that is seeking a Scrum Master/Team Coach. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting software development and product teams, including environments utilizing Scrum and Kanban frameworks. Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Duties:
* Serves as a servant leader and Agile coach, enabling teams to self-organize, self-manage, and achieve delivery objectives through Lean-Agile practices
* Supports the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile methodologies at both the team and organizational levels
* Serves as Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams
* Conducts Agile maturity assessments and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement at the team and program levels
* Develops, enhances, and delivers Agile training and coaching materials
* Facilitates communication and collaboration across teams through coordination meetings and Agile best practices
* Establishes, maintains, and reports on metrics that support team performance and delivery objectives
* Contributes to Agile practice development and continuous improvement initiatives
* Demonstrates strong servant leadership through facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and team enablement
* Supports healthy team dynamics by helping teams address challenges, resolve conflicts, and capitalize on growth opportunities; Escalates issues when appropriate after team-level resolution efforts have been exhausted
* Facilitates Agile ceremonies, removes impediments, shields teams from unnecessary disruptions, and promotes adherence to Agile principles and team commitments
* Assists teams in preparation for planning events through capacity planning, prioritization guidance, and Agile planning best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of information technology experience required
* Agile certifications such as Scrum Master or SAFe credentials are preferred
* 5 years of experience leading projects, developing teams, or supporting Agile delivery teams, including at least 3 years serving in a Scrum Master role
* Knowledge of Agile principles, iterative development methodologies, and service-oriented environments
* Experience with Agile engineering practices such as Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Programming, and Automated Testing is preferred
* Able to support complex initiatives, facilitate backlog refinement activities, identify dependencies, and guide teams toward effective delivery solutions
* Proven ability to build credibility with business and technical stakeholders, influence outcomes, foster collaboration, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
