The Functional Business Analyst will use a structured approach to respond to various stakeholder concerns and recommendations for improvement. Lead an end-to-end effort to categorize items and track and manage progress toward the item s resolution. Navigate multiple applications to assess operational input, output across multiple integration points, and determine viability of escalation in a tiered ticketing system. The FBA will assess the operational workstream using internal organizational guidelines and assign to one or more technical teams to take charge of its resolution. Assure clarity and visibility into the status and progress of items in the record. Understand and take accountability of the impact of issues and time sensitive resolution. Manage items to closure according to organizational process standards. Contribute to metrics and define key performance indicators customized to the item tracking process. Identify missing data and provide requirements to data sourcing teams. Ensure proper coordination between the IT organization and process owners. Interact regularly with campus constituencies. Communicate and translate required business process capabilities and outcomes effectively between business process areas and supporting departments. Effective support to key stakeholders in this role aims to identify required actions, as well as clarify assumptions, constraints, and dependencies in the system.

• Strong understanding of relational databases and strong data analysis
• Ability to work with virtual teams.
• Provide excellent communication and translate required business process capabilities and outcomes effectively between business process areas and supporting departments.
• Exceptional analytical ability and understanding of operational system configurations.
• Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision essential.
• Relevant qualifications in IT or equivalent industry experience
• Knowledge of financial systems
• Ability to work with tight and competitive deadlines.
