Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract fully remote out of Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud applications, focusing on HR, Payroll, and Benefits business processes. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation, testing, and readiness of system functionalities.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
Develop functional specifications, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria based on stakeholder needs.
Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Management.
Assist stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by clarifying system behaviors and expectations.
Participate in test planning and execution for Oracle HCM quarterly updates, patches, and major releases.
Design and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.
Ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Document and track defects, risks, and testing outcomes while communicating results effectively.
Support release readiness activities, including validation of production deployments.
Prepare detailed documentation, including functional requirements, test plans, and risk assessments.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud applications is required.
Proven expertise in HR, Payroll, and Benefits business processes.
Strong knowledge of SaaS application testing, including regression testing for Oracle updates.
Ability to perform both Business Analyst and Quality Assurance functions effectively.
Familiarity with QA methodologies and test automation tools.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to document and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies and gap analysis.
Oracle HCM Cloud experience is mandatory; candidates without this will not be considered.
