Role Overview
The Oracle EPM Architect is responsible for leading the strategy, architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions using Oracle Cloud EPM technologies. This role partners closely with Finance, IT, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant financial systems supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, account reconciliation, reporting, and enterprise data management.
The Oracle EPM Architect serves as the technical leader for Oracle EPM initiatives, defining architectural standards, best practices, governance, and long-term technology roadmaps while ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-wide financial transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
- Define enterprise Oracle EPM architecture, standards, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain the Oracle EPM technology roadmap aligned with business and finance transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate new Oracle Cloud EPM capabilities and recommend adoption strategies.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical design workshops.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Oracle EPM solutions.
- Create solution blueprints, reference architectures, and implementation standards.
- Solution Design & Architecture
- Design end-to-end Oracle EPM Cloud solutions including:
- Enterprise Planning (EPBCS/PBCS)
- Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS)
- Account Reconciliation (ARCS)
- Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS)
- Narrative Reporting
- Profitability & Cost Management (PCMCS), where applicable
- Design application architecture, metadata, dimensional models, security frameworks, and data flows.
- Define enterprise integration strategies across Oracle Cloud applications and third-party systems.
- Architect high-performance Essbase ASO/BSO cube designs.
- Ensure solution scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence.
