Position: Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

Work Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Requirements:

• Database Installation & Configuration: Installing and upgrading Oracle software, creating new databases, and setting up server hardware/virtual machines.
• Backup & Recovery (High Availability): Developing and implementing comprehensive backup strategies using RMAN (Recovery Manager) to ensure zero data loss.
• Managing disaster recovery scenarios using tools like Data Guard.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization: Monitoring database performance and tuning SQL queries, memory allocation (SGA/PGA), and I/O to improve efficiency.
• Security & User Management: Managing user accounts, permissions, and database roles.
• Implementing data encryption, auditing, and compliance standards.
• Oracle DBA, SQL, PL/SQL, SAFe
