A leading financial services organization is seeking a
Data Architect / Senior Data Architect to join a newly established enterprise data organization in
Richardson, TX. This is a
full-time position requiring 4 days' onsite per week and offers the opportunity to help shape the future of a company-wide data transformation initiative. The organization has made significant investments in modernizing its data ecosystem and is building its next-generation data platform on
AWS and
Snowflake.
This is more than a traditional architecture role. You'll work directly with executive leadership and business stakeholders to define enterprise data strategy, create long-term data roadmaps, and build scalable data products that drive business outcomes. You'll also have the opportunity to help incorporate emerging AI technologies, including
LLMs, RAG, MCP, and Vector Database architecture, as part of the company's future-state data platform.
Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Data Platforms
Strong AWS architecture experience
Expert-level Snowflake knowledge
Enterprise Data Architecture design
Data Warehousing architecture and modeling
Desired Skills & Experience Experience with AI and modern data platforms

Daily Responsibilities
Define current and future-state enterprise data architectures
Develop migration strategies and technology roadmaps
Partner with business units to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
Design enterprise data warehouse and ingestion frameworks
Establish architecture standards, governance, and best practices
