Location - Remote

Duration: 6-12 months plus

Description:

Role Title: Business Analyst for Guidewire Billling

Required Skills: Proficient in Guidewire Billing Functionality, able to converse efficiently with client

Responsibilities: Understand Guidewire Billing Domain open issues, help triage issues with client, after SIT is complete, test the isues before requesting client to test, keep tab of items in scope

Required Skills:

Subject Matter Expert in Billing Center configuration: billing & payment plans, charge patterns, delinquency workflows, disbursements, and agency bill

Solid understanding of Guidewire OOTB framework

Experience with Guidewire integration frameworks (messaging, batch processes) and any third-party payment systems.

Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex production issues across application, integration, and data layers

Knowledge of Policy Center, Contact Manager and integration including policy-to-billing lifecycle events

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Responsibilities:

Primary point of contact for Billing Center production issues

Manage and resolve defects related to billing workflows, payment processing, disbursements configurations

And maintain billing plans, payment plans, charge patterns, delinquency workflows, business rules

Maintain detailed root cause analysis

Partner with Business Team to gather requirements, validate solutions, and obtain sign-off from business owners

Partner with business analysts to translate operational issues and enhancement requests into clear technical specifications

Provide impact assessments and effort estimates for change requests.

Perform and oversee code fixes, configuration changes, Code Merges, and deployments

Manage scheduled batch processes, integration touchpoints (Policy Center, external payment gateways).

Prepare and maintain technical documentation including functional specifications.

Collaborate with QA teams to define test plans, review test cases, and validate fixes in non-production environments before promotion

Support environment validation, UAT testing coordination and go-live readiness assessments

Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of known issues, workarounds, and configuration decisions to enable faster resolution
