Systems Analyst / Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Manhattan, NY that is seeking a Systems Analyst/Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* Provides application, network, and systems support for critical banking technologies, including internal networks, servers, security systems, and payment platforms
* Assists with system administration, testing, upgrades, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and operational support to ensure system availability, performance, compliance, and business continuity
* Manages system implementations, change control processes, audit requirements, disaster recovery testing, and end-user technical support while maintaining adherence to all regulatory and security standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of Computer Operations and related systems, especially AS400 systems
* Familiarity with Equation and eGifts applications (or a similar payment application)
* College degree or equivalent experience
* Experience working with banks or financial institutions and core banking functions
* Experience with automating software jobs and batches preferred
* Knowledge of Client Servers and Windows Server Operating Systems
* Experience working with cloud based and SaaS applications for core banking preferred
* Ability to work on AS400 systems
* Experience creating various databases using MS Access
* Ability to manage and query Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Databases
* Ability to manage Microsoft System Server

* AS400/IBM i

* Banking systems and payment platforms support
* Disaster Recovery and regulatory compliance (BSA/AML, OFAC, etc.)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
