About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of high-speed manufacturing equipment across global operations. In this role, you will drive end-to-end engineering solutions-from concept through installation and startup-while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of complex process equipment across global sites
  • Develop innovative solutions for high-speed manufacturing systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in existing equipment, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies to support manufacturing processes
  • Perform reverse engineering to improve or replicate existing equipment and components
  • Partner with vendors and suppliers to develop, procure, and validate equipment and components
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, procedures, and training materials
  • Train operations and maintenance teams on equipment usage, safety, and best practices
Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing environments
  • Proven expertise in designing high-speed manufacturing equipment, including fabrication, installation, and personnel training
  • Strong experience in tooling design, fabrication, and mechanical assembly
  • Demonstrated success in troubleshooting complex mechanical systems
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, and drawings)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of precision measurement and working with tight tolerances
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD (ACAD) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
