Job Description *
Essential Job Responsibilities:
The purpose of the Senior Project Manager job is to ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery. The Senior Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and monitor larger scale scope and budget projects with a high degree of complexity and risk. The Senior Project Manager will partner with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful start-up and completion of a project. Projects will involve multiple business units and functional areas. The Senior Project Manager is expected to work under minimal supervision with oversight provided by the Bank Professional Services Implementation and Consulting management team.
- The Senior Project manager will engage with assigned project team members from the Bank Delivery Team, including Technical Business Analyst, Implementation Consultants, Members of the Data Center Application Operations Team and others business units or project managers as needed for a successful project delivery.
- The Senior Project Manager will ensure predictable, consistent, and successful and on time project delivery
- The Senior Project Manager will exhibit proactive behavior by engaging in project planning activities, including but not limited to: Reviewing and developing project plan for the overall scope of the project; Creating and maintaining a consolidated timeline/schedule highlighting the major milestones and associated dates for project activities; Identifying and communicating project dependencies and impacts; Putting mechanisms in place to ensure on-going control of the project (E.g., Kick off meeting, overall Project Management Approach, Communication Plan, Risk Management, Issues Management, Change Control, etc.)
- The Senior Project Manager will clearly define project governance, outlining roles, responsibilities, change control and clearly defined escalation paths
- The Senior Project Manager will work to ensure success by having project criteria defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage to the expected project outcomes
- The Senior Project Manager will keep all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the project, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout project
- The Senior Project Manager will proactively communicate the project s progress on an on-going basis, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information to make effective, timely decisions
- The Senior Project Manager is expected to be knowledgeable about how the organizations work; and knows how to get things done through formal channels and the informal network. Understands the culture of the organization.
- The Senior project manager will be able to manage both internal Bank team members and external clients team members involved in the overall implementation project to include scheduling activities, maintaining budget control and ensuring deliverables are properly defined and completed on schedule.
- The Senior Project Manager will communicate all changes to schedule and scope on a timely basis to internal and external project stakeholders and documents as needed as part of defined project management status reporting
- The Senior Project Manager will use and Manage Project activities, documents, dates and keeping project status reports and other necessary project related items up to date in Project Management tools like Clarity
- The Senior project manager will be able to manage multiple large complex projects simultaneously throughout the project lifecycles.
- The Senior Project Manger will make sure all relevant billing and time tracking records are properly kept meeting company standards
- The Senior Project manager would be willing to travel as necessary to client sites or other company office locations based on project requirements up to 20%

Required Qualifications:
Education Bachelor s degree in business or equivalent work experience
Certifications - PMP certification preferred or willingness to work toward attainment of PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Minimum five plus years of previous project management and/or relevant consulting experience in delivering complex project
Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies, as well as, project lifecycles
Extensive Experience working in a client facing role.
Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries, Previous use or management of Bank Software products desired and Knowledge of the Risk, Compliance and Fraud industry beneficial.
Experience in driving medium and large-scale projects within complex organizations, preferably previous experience in project management in the software industry
Proficient with Project Management tools, like Microsoft projects and Clarity project management application desired.
