Job Title: Hardware Deployment Technician

Job Overview:

The Hardware Deployment Technician is responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting hardware and software systems across the organization.
This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with network connectivity, and providing end-user support to ensure smooth IT operations.
The candidate will collaborate with teams to coordinate deployments and maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.

Experience:

2+ years of experience in desktop support, executive support, or IT deployment roles.
Experience in Oil and Gas industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Install and configure laptops, shared systems, printers, and peripheral devices.
Perform basic software installation using internal deployment tools.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues both on-site and remotely.
Assist with network connectivity issues including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations.
Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Maintain accurate inventory records of hardware assets.
Create and maintain documentation for deployment processes and troubleshooting steps.
Coordinate with project teams and onsite support staff to manage deployments effectively.

Skills:

Proficiency in Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
Experience with software deployment tools and remote support technologies.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts and configurations.
Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure.
Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Qualification And Education:

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications are preferred.

Should Have:

Ability to lift and carry computer equipment.
