Vega is Hiring! Senior Back End tester for our direct Health Care client located in the metro DC area. 6 month+ contract opportunity. Must have current Backend testing experience. Remote based opportunity, candidates must be located on the East Coast.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have current Healthcare back end & Automation Testing experience.

Healthcare experience is a MUST
5-8 years of experience in a technical discipline, 5 years of ETL / Back end testing
Experience with Object Oriented Design, and programing languages ( Java, JavaScript, SQL/PL-SQL)
Strong background in using and managing back-end testing tools with emphasis on back-end testing tools Experience in back end testing of large databases.
Acceptance Criteria and preparing test cases/scripts
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
7 years in functional analysis, testing experience within the software development life cycle and
Experience creating test plans, test cases and test scenarios from scratch, Proficient
Experience mapping requirements to test requirements, test plans and test cases, Advanced
Experience with at least 2 relational database management system (e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL), Proficient
Experience with Back End Testing, specifically with ETL, Advanced
Knowledge and understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Experience with Agile methodology and tools, Advanced
Experience with Jira test case repository and defect tracking
Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Experience with Automation test case development, Advanced (specifically with Java & Jenkins)
API Testing is preferred.
