Position OverviewTEKsystems is seeking a
Lead Installation Technician to oversee and perform on-site installations for commercial projects across the country. This role includes supervising a small team (1-3 technicians) while completing conduit, cabling, and security system installations with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on-site installation teams of 1-3 technicians.
- Install, terminate, and test Cat6 cabling, security cameras, and related low-voltage infrastructure.
- Work with structured telecom cabling, fire alarm systems, access control, and other low-voltage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints to build cable pathways that avoid obstructions and electrical conflicts.
- Install and run Cat6, fiber, coax, and additional cabling types.
- Apply knowledge of low-voltage NEC codes throughout installations.
- Build and install server racks; mount access points, cameras, access panels, and fire alarm devices.
- Test all installed systems for functionality and compliance.
Tools & Equipment- Technician must provide: personal hand tools, punch tools, cordless drills.
- TEKsystems provides: consumables, specialized training as needed, and any access requirements.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
