**Summary:**
Seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst with extensive experience validating Health and Human Services (HHS) solutions for public benefit programs, specifically SNAP (Food Assistance) and TANF (Cash Assistance). Must possess strong skills in end-to-end testing of integrated eligibility functionality and benefit issuance, including hands-on knowledge of both frontend workflows and backend processes.
**Core Qualifications:**
- Proven background in HHS application testing, with direct involvement in eligibility rule validation for programs such as SNAP and TANF, and in payment/benefit processing workflows.
- Skilled at interpreting business requirements, reviewing use cases, and analyzing technical documentation to develop comprehensive test scenarios.
- Experienced in the full QA lifecycle: writing test plans, executing test cases, logging defects, and completing thorough test closure documentation.
- Knowledgeable in several test types, such as functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Hands-on expertise testing automated and batch jobs, managing interface validations (file transfer, SOAP/XML APIs), and verifying results of data conversions and system migrations.
- Worked with tools like Azure DevOps for test management, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally in Agile teams and manage priorities independently.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Proficient in writing SQL queries for validation of database records and supporting backend testing tasks.
- Experience with data comparison between legacy and upgraded HHS systems for migration or modernization projects.
- Understanding of secure data handling practices and role-based access control validation.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
- Author, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for eligibility, calculation, and issuance features.
- Validate system operations executed via nightly, weekly, or monthly scheduled jobs, including creation and verification of files and notices.
- Ensure accuracy of payment calculations and timely dissemination across all benefit programs.
- Oversight of integration testing for data exchanges with partner organizations, including validating inbound/outbound data integrity.
- Document and report test results, ensuring comprehensive traceability from requirements to outcomes.
