Description: Our client is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst III

Job Description:

We're actively seeking a talented Sr Systems Analyst I to join our BPM Enablement Platform team in Newport Beach, CA This role is hybrid as we believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.

As a Sr. Systems Analyst I within the Pacific Life Technology team, this person will have the opportunity to partner with the Business on their technology enablement needs. This person will be responsible for business analysis and providing support to technical teams, business partners and management using Agile methodologies. This individual will meet with business stakeholders to understand and identify needs, capture, analyze and document requirements from a technology perspective.

How you will make an impact:

Analyze complex business problems, evaluate business needs, and clarify requirements, data, processes, and systems for complex technology projects.

Work with Product Owner to refine backlog, prioritize use cases and drive understanding

Develop solutions to complex problems, requiring the regular use of ingenuity and creativity, within the larger context of the business needs and objectives; coordinating with business areas, Digital Transformation teams and Technology on overlapping functions.

Recommend scope, facilitate and participate in application design sessions, and aid in the development of system solutions.

Engage and actively participate in sprint and release plans and participate in retrospectives to continually improve team processes.

Prepare time estimates for completing features, and assist in overall scope definition, management and tracking. Facilitate the development process.

Support user acceptance testing and adoption of changes through planning, test-scenario identification, communication, and execution.

Coordinate testing and code promotions with developers, testers and DevOps engineers. Participate in problem resolution.

Troubleshoots production problems and acts as liaison among business areas, keeps all parties informed of status, and coordinates problem resolution.

The experience you will bring:

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in an analytical field, computer science, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of five years systems analysis experience.

Outside-the-box thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to deal with ambiguity.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills on both business and technical subjects; possesses strong interview and meeting facilitation skills. Ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.

Experience with AWD/Chorus and other workflow solution platforms.

Demonstrated experience working in an agile mode, where team members self-organize and hold each other accountable.

Demonstrated ability to build trust. Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Agile/Scrum software development (Scrum Master or Product Owner certification is a plus).
