Product Owner - Banking Products

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering strategic product solutions.
• Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned with business goals and market trends, particularly within the banking domain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, UX, stakeholders) to design and deliver innovative banking products.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable plans.
• Own and manage the end-to-end requirement lifecycle, ensuring quality, traceability, and timely delivery.
• Utilize Scrum and Kanban methodologies to manage backlogs, prioritize tasks, and optimize delivery timelines.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and inform product strategy.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships; understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment.
• Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and proactively address challenges.
• Ensure products comply with banking regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Business Analysis & Planning
• In-depth knowledge of Banking Products
• Proven experience in Product Design & Strategy
• Hands-on experience with Scrum and Kanban frameworks
• Expertise in Requirement Lifecycle Management
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Qualifications:

• 12 years of experience in Product Ownership / Business Analysis / Product Management
• Strong understanding of banking domain and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex products in fast-paced environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience working with Agile teams and tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.) preferred

Nice to Have:

• Experience in digital banking, payments, or lending platforms
• Exposure to customer journey mapping and UX design
• Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or PMI-ACP
