To oversee and support the execution of technical projects and programs within the client department. To ensure consistency in project management methodologies, monitor dependencies across multiple technical initiatives, and provide consolidated reporting to leadership. To serve as a resource for project teams, offering guidance on best practices, governance, and compliance with hospital IT policies and standards. To commit to fostering an environment of heightened security by adhering to Information Technology Security Policies and completing annual security training, including compliance with the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Develops and maintains technical project and program management standards, templates, and best practices for clinical and non-clinical areas.
2. Provides training, coaching, and mentorship to project teams to ensure effective project execution.
3. Monitors cross-project dependencies, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies
. 4. Consolidates and reports technical project status, financial performance, and key metrics to leadership.
5. Ensures adherence to project governance, methodologies, budgets, and timelines through periodic reviews.
6. Assists leadership in prioritizing and allocating resources across projects to meet strategic objectives.
7. Establishes team goals and objectives, supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
8. Coordinates with technical teams and stakeholders to align project objectives with organizational needs.
9. Supports compliance with security policies, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements related to IT projects.
10. Identifies and resolves project-related challenges while balancing efficiency, quality, and risk management.
11. Enhances communication between technical teams, hospital leadership, and external vendors.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
