Job Title SVP, Segment CIO
About your role: You will serve as the SVP, Segment CIO, leading technology strategy and execution for the segment and partnering with senior business leaders, enterprise architecture, security, and product teams to enable growth, resilience, and operational excellence. You will direct architecture, engineering, and operations efforts to modernize platforms, reduce risk, optimize costs, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that support customer and business outcomes. This position will report directly to the Global CIO.
What you'll do: - Define and execute enterprise technology strategy that aligns with segment business objectives and measurable KPIs.
- Lead delivery of large-scale transformation programs, including cloud migration, platform modernization, data initiatives, and security improvements.
- Build, coach, and scale high-performing technology teams; set performance expectations and career development plans.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain senior leaders and technical talent; establish succession plans and talent development programs.
- Manage technology budget, procurement, and vendor/partner relationships to optimize total cost of ownership and service delivery.
- Partner with risk, compliance, and information security to ensure regulatory requirements and operational controls are implemented and measured.

Experience you'll need to have: - 15+ years of experience leading enterprise technology strategy and operations for large, complex organizations, including digital transformation and modernization programs.
- 10+ years of experience managing and developing teams, including senior leaders responsible for engineering, architecture, and operations.
- 10+ years of experience managing multi-million-dollar technology budgets, vendor relationships, and delivery performance for enterprise services.
- Experience implementing cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and applying modern architecture and application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Recent experience in AI initiatives, bringing thought leadership and experience managing AI book of work and driving efficiencies
- Master's degree or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have: - Experience working in financial services or payments technology organizations.
- Experience implementing and operating controls for regulatory frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOX, or GLBA.
- Experience leading integrations for mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale platform consolidations.
How you'll work: - This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
Travel: This role requires occasional travel (up to 20%).
