Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network API Specialist to design and build next-generation programmable network capabilities. This role focuses on transforming telecom network assets into scalable, developer-friendly APIs that can be consumed by modern applications, including AI-driven systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in 4G/5G core architecture, telecom APIs, and REST-based services, along with the ability to bridge telecom infrastructure with emerging AI and cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design and develop network APIs leveraging 4G/5G core network capabilities

·         Work with telecom network functions and exposure layers to enable API-based services

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API use cases and architecture

·         Integrate APIs with cloud platforms and modern microservices-based environments

·         Support implementation of intent-based and AI-driven network use cases

·         Evaluate and integrate vendor solutions within telecom API ecosystems

·         Ensure scalability, security, and performance of exposed APIs

Required Skills

·         Strong experience in 4G/5G wireless architecture (Core networks, IMS, NFs)

·         Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger

·         Knowledge of Telecom API frameworks (CAMARA, Open Gateway, NEF concepts)

·         Experience with Network API exposure and integration

·         Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture

·         Understanding of telecom vendors and network ecosystems (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia)

Preferred Skills

·         Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based applications in telecom environments

·         Experience with Service Management & Orchestration (SMO)

·         Knowledge of network slicing and advanced 5G capabilities

·         Experience integrating APIs across multi-domain networks

Soft Skills

·         Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

·         Ability to translate technical capabilities into business use cases

·         Experience working in cross-functional and fast-paced environments
