Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Adobe Cloud Engineer to support the transition of a broad portfolio of Adobe solutions from legacy on-premises environments to Adobe Cloud. This role is ideal for a technically strong cloud engineer with a deep understanding of the "why" behind technical solutions. The position will focus on architecting, integrating, and operationalizing Adobe Cloud across the enterprise, with approximately 80% focus on M365 integration and 20% on Adobe platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding, configuration, and integration of Adobe Cloud products, such as Document Cloud, Creative Cloud, Firefly, and Adobe Sign.
- Migrate legacy on-premise Adobe systems to cloud-based services, ensuring security, reliability, and operational continuity.
- Integrate Adobe platforms with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD/Entra ID, focusing on backend SSO, IAM, and SCIM provisioning from the admin console.
- Implement and maintain Adobe Cloud governance, security controls, permissions models, and role-based access at a system level, creating rules that go beyond standard user provisioning.
- Engineer and troubleshoot solutions built on Azure and/or AWS as part of Adobe backend integrations.
- Automate administrative tasks, deployment processes, and configuration management using standard scripting and DevOps tools.
- Ensure Adobe Cloud configurations align with enterprise security, compliance, and data governance standards, understanding how changes may interact with security team requirements.
- Serve as an escalation point for operational issues, integration challenges, and advanced troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, identity engineering, or enterprise platform engineering.
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Azure AD/Entra ID, and enterprise identity/SSO (SAML, OAuth, SCIM).
- Experience migrating applications or platforms from on-premises environments to cloud providers (Azure or AWS).
- Proven ability to create system-level rules and understand product intricacies beyond surface-level operations.
- Strong foundation in cloud security, governance, compliance, and operational management.
- Must be located in Charlotte, NC or Addison, TX or Jacksonville, FL and willing to work hybrid on-site
Technical Skills:- Familiarity with Adobe enterprise products (e.g., Acrobat/Document Cloud, Creative Cloud, Adobe Sign, Firefly, Adobe Experience Cloud).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with an ability to investigate the root cause of issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering or engineering Adobe Cloud at scale.
- Background integrating SaaS platforms with Microsoft 365 and major Identity Providers (IdPs).
- Knowledge of AWS backend concepts.
- Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Experience with home labs and a proactive approach to understanding product intricacies.
