Database Technology Manager

Description

We are looking for a skilled Database Technology Manager to oversee and enhance database systems within our organization. This role requires expertise in managing database technologies, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with teams to optimize operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high performance and security standards.

Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Lead the implementation and maintenance of Active Directory and Citrix technologies.
Oversee desktop administration processes, ensuring timely support and updates.
Provide technical support for computer hardware and remote desktop systems.
Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Ensure the security and integrity of database systems and sensitive data.
Develop and document procedures for database operations and system administration.
Analyze system performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
Support Oracle database environments and ensure their seamless operation.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve organizational practices.

Requirements

Proven experience working with database technologies, including Active Directory and Citrix.
Strong knowledge of desktop administration and computer hardware.
Ability to provide effective remote desktop support.
Familiarity with Oracle databases and related systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of system security and data protection protocols.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
