Job Overview:

• We're looking for a skilled Shopify Engineer to help build, customize, and scale high-performing eCommerce experiences.
• You'll work closely with design, product, and marketing teams to deliver seamless storefronts, optimize performance, and implement robust backend integrations.
• This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, user experience, and business impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Shopify storefronts using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Customize Shopify themes and build reusable components.
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and services (payments, shipping, CRM, etc.).
• Optimize site performance, speed, and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX into functional experiences.
• Troubleshoot bugs, implement fixes, and ensure cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Manage Shopify Plus features (if applicable), including Scripts and Functions.
• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Stay up to date with Shopify platform updates and eCommerce trends.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience developing on Shopify (Shopify Plus experience is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in Liquid templating language.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with headless commerce architectures (e.g., Hydrogen, React).
• Familiarity with modern frameworks (React, Next.js).
• Experience in CRO (conversion rate optimization).
• Exposure to analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).
