Position Title: Business Support Specialist

Pay Rate: $23/hr - $25/hr on W2
Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Support Specialist to support system, account, and loan operations while ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency. This role plays a critical part in identifying discrepancies, resolving system and General Ledger issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across business operations.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience working with financial systems or operational platforms, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This position also supports system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and the implementation of new products or automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and research system, account, and loan discrepancies; resolve issues and communicate outcomes clearly
Ensure systems and processes align with regulatory, procedural, and compliance requirements
Identify root causes of errors and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Partner with business units, IT, and finance teams to resolve General Ledger and system-related issues
Participate in task groups supporting new product launches, system upgrades, and automation initiatives
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and documentation
Assist with system and process change implementation and post-deployment validation
Evaluate existing processes and recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Perform ongoing research and provide business support as needed
Required Skills/Education:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience supporting business operations, financial systems, or loan/account servicing environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Working knowledge of General Ledger processes and system reconciliation
Experience with system testing, UAT, or process improvement initiatives
Ability to collaborate across business, technical, and operational teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with enterprise systems a plus
