We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits. In this role, you will lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of complex global benefits programs within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to our client, bridging the gap between HR business requirements and technical execution—leading everything from plan design and annual open enrollment setups to complex inbound/outbound integrations and reporting.
Functional Leadership:
Lead discovery workshops with HR stakeholders to gather business requirements for Oracle Cloud Benefits, Life Events, Eligibility Profiles, Rates, and Benefit Carriers.
Configure and maintain complex benefit plans, coverage levels, dependent coverage, and rate structures within Oracle Cloud HCM.
Manage and troubleshoot Annual Open Enrollment configurations, qualifying life events, and ongoing enrollment cycles.
Technical & Integration Expertise:
Design, build, and maintain complex inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle HCM Benefits and third-party benefit carriers, payroll providers, and vendors using HCM Extracts, OTBI, BIP Reports, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Integration Cloud (OIC).
Write and maintain fast formulas for complex benefit eligibility, rate calculations, and coverage calculations.
Perform data migrations, validate data accuracy, and troubleshoot configuration or integration errors during implementation phases.
Collaboration & Strategy:
Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and client stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions on schedule.
Provide post-production support, resolve high-priority incidents, and recommend system enhancements aligned with Oracle quarterly updates.
Mentor junior consultants and provide thorough documentation and knowledge transfer to client teams.
Experience: 12+ years of overall IT/HR tech experience, with a heavy emphasis on Oracle Applications.
Oracle Cloud Expertise: Minimum 6–8+ years of hands-on implementation and support experience specifically in Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits.
Techno-Functional Acumen:
Strong mastery of Oracle Fast Formulas for Benefits.
Proven experience building custom HCM Extracts, BI Publisher reports, and OTBI analytics dashboards.
Solid understanding of Oracle HCM data loader (HDL) and file-based data loader (FBDL).
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of US Benefits administration, healthcare plans (Medical, Dental, Vision), flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), life insurance, and compliance regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, ERISA).
Soft Skills: Excellent client-facing communication, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
