We are seeking a Project Controls / Financial Analyst to support financial management activities, program reporting, cost analysis, and business operations for a large-scale organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing data, collaborating with project teams, and turning financial information into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze program financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and actual costs.
- Partner with Program Managers to review financial status and support business decisions.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, presentations, and ad hoc reports.
- Use financial systems and Microsoft Excel to analyze costs, trends, and projections.
- Support proposal development, cost estimating, and resource planning activities.
- Review project expenses, task plans, and resource requirements to support accurate forecasting.
- Assist with contract administration, funding questions, and internal/external program reviews.
- Maintain clear financial documentation and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, project controls, budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Oracle Financial Systems or similar financial platforms preferred.
- Government contracting, project controls, or resource analyst experience preferred.
