Description
We are looking for an Event / Operations Manager to support enterprise-wide programs and coordinate high-impact educational and operational initiatives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position will partner with teams across multiple business functions to keep events, communications, reporting, and program logistics organized and running smoothly. The ideal candidate brings strong Cvent expertise, financial and performance reporting skills, and the ability to manage several priorities at once while working with a broad range of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate event and program execution across multiple departments, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations remain aligned.
Use Cvent to create and maintain event builds, registration workflows, participant communications, and reporting tools for assigned programs.
Oversee attendee registration activity, monitor participation data, and manage communications before and after events to support a strong participant experience.
Partner with cross-functional teams, academic stakeholders, faculty support groups, and internal operational teams to advance program goals.
Track budgets, process invoices, and maintain financial records while preparing program-level reporting on expenses and performance.
Produce dashboards, reports, and metrics that help leadership evaluate program outcomes and operational effectiveness.
Support credentialing-related documentation and ensure required records are organized, accurate, and completed on schedule.
Arrange educational program logistics, including scheduling coordination and operational planning needed for successful delivery.
Requirements
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Cvent, including event setup, registration management, communications, and system reporting.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while balancing shifting deadlines and competing priorities.
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and a wide range of internal stakeholders.
Background in budget oversight, invoice handling, and financial tracking for programs or events.
Skill in developing business reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
Experience supporting educational events, training programs, or similar structured learning initiatives.
Strong organizational skills with careful attention to documentation, scheduling, and process accuracy.
