Role Overview
This position supports large-scale global accounting and systems integration initiatives. The role involves leading global finance systems and accounting transformation projects, supporting business expansion, and acting as a subject matter expert across finance and accounting transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of program management, accounting, and finance systems expertise to drive complex projects to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage multiple global finance systems and accounting transformation projects from planning to closeout.
- Create and manage Accounting Requirements Documents (ARDs) and other critical accounting documentation.
- Partner with finance, accounting, business, and technical stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and document accounting impacts.
- Translate accounting requirements into technical documentation for technology teams.
- Drive project execution, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and manage deliverables across concurrent initiatives.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system implementations.
- Develop meeting agendas, lead deep-dive sessions, provide status updates, and mitigate project risks.
- Maintain project trackers, manage documentation repositories, and track project timelines.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of program or project management experience, including managing accounting or finance process improvement and technology projects.
- Demonstrated experience in payments and billing solutions.
- Experience with subscription accounting is a significant bonus.
- Proven ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Education & Skills:- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial processes, project management, accounting requirements documentation, process design, and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to understand accounting concepts, identify financial impacts, and communicate effectively with technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within a large, global organization.
- Experience within the devices, hardware, consumer electronics, or logistics industries.
