Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production software and hardware.
- Develop and implement improvements to existing manufacturing processes and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for new applications.
- Configure and customize manufacturing execution systems (MES) for specific production lines.
- Conduct training for end-users on new applications and system functionalities.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring application and system failures.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
- Proven ability to interpret customer technical requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP).
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or field service role.
- Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for automation or data analysis.
