Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Change Management Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT auditing and be responsible for evaluating and improving change management processes and controls. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the organization's operational integrity while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate change management procedures to ensure proper authorization and testing of changes before implementation.
Identify and assess key controls within the change management framework to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Review the quality and adequacy of information generated by the change management program to support effective decision-making.
Monitor and assess change management performance metrics, ensuring their effectiveness and addressing deviations proactively.
Evaluate risk management controls to confirm a balanced approach between preventive, detective, and corrective measures.
Provide recommendations for improving processes and mitigating risks within the change management environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory standards such as SOX and operational audit requirements.
Conduct thorough assessments of financial and operational audits, ensuring findings are properly documented and addressed.
Develop and implement audit plans tailored to organizational needs and compliance standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the change management program to enhance effectiveness and responsiveness.

Requirements

Strong expertise in SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance and regulatory frameworks.
Proven experience in conducting financial audits and documenting findings effectively.
In-depth knowledge of operational audit processes and best practices.
Ability to design and execute comprehensive audit plans.
Familiarity with risk management controls and their application in change management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex processes.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in auditing or change management are preferred.
