Job Description


We are seeking a Regulated Messaging Product Manager to lead product planning and execution for data retention and supervision technologies for electronic communication data across a large financial services enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in voice network portfolios, archival and messaging platforms, and regulatory compliance for retention, supervision, and discovery and a proven ability to define strategy and roadmap, deliver prioritized requirements, and drive on-time releases that meet customer, regulatory, and financial objectives.


Responsibilities:



  • Define and maintain the product strategy and roadmap for data retention and supervision of electronic communications.

  • Gather, prioritize, and document customer and regulatory requirements with clear justification.

  • Drive enhancements and updates through the product development lifecycle with engineering, operations, marketing, and support.

  • Coordinate demos and orchestrate end-user training to support adoption and compliance.

  • Develop product positioning and messaging and communicate updates to stakeholders and end users.

  • Propose budgets, secure funding, and set pricing to achieve recovery and financial goals.

  • Deliver monthly metrics, including volume, savings, expenses, and forecasts, and report performance against targets.

  • Run beta and proof-of-concept programs with early-stage products and samples.

  • Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with internal vendor management to support negotiations and delivery.

  • Ensure smooth execution for critical initiatives and optimize customer experience and time to market.

  • Maintain awareness of alternative and competing products and inform strategy.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Strong understanding of product management, including new product development, testing, and deployment.

  • Experience with regulatory requirements for retention, supervision, and discovery of electronic communications.

  • Must have expertise across the Voice Network portfolio and related products.

  • Excellent executive presentation and communication skills; ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear documents and presentations.

  • Influencing and problem resolution skills with comfort communicating to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Leadership and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a matrixed environment.

  • Business-centric mindset and sound judgment to drive desired outcomes with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Information Technology professional with 7+ years of experience; 3-5 years in Product Management with demonstrated product launches.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • Experience in a highly regulated financial institution preferred; Product Management certification preferred.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with technology deployment processes and cross-functional release management.

  • Background with Archival, Messaging, Data Analytics, and Data Management technologies.
