UI5 Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a UI5 Developer to design and build custom applications within an SAP S/4HANA environment. This role focuses on developing scalable, high-quality UI5 applications using modern web technologies, with an emphasis on JavaScript-based development rather than standard Fiori implementations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and translate functional designs into effective technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop custom SAP UI5 applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS Work within an S/4HANA environment to design, build, and deploy solutions Collaborate with functional and technical teams to analyze requirements and design solutions Develop modularized ABAP code and support full lifecycle custom development, including enhancements Resolve defects identified during testing and ensure application stability Follow development standards and change management processes for deployments Utilize SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) for development activities Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver project objectives Required Qualifications Experience building custom applications using SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS Proficiency with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) Experience working within an SAP S/4HANA environment Strong understanding of modularized ABAP development Knowledge of object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and data modeling Experience with Gateway Services, OData, and CDS views Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications Experience with TSW or IS-Oil modules Familiarity with Git for version control Knowledge of modern S/4HANA coding standards and best practices Education: Bachelors Degree
