This position is responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities include ensuring software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Solutions must be well-designed with maintainability, ease of integration, and testing built-in from the outset. This role requires strong knowledge of industry-common development and testing practices, as well as design and architectural patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Code solutions and perform unit testing to deliver requirements according to defined acceptance criteria.
- Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while maintaining principal architecture integrity.
- Execute story refinement, define requirements, and estimate the work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
- Perform proof-of-concept work as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for integration, regression, and performance.
- Utilize multiple architectural patterns and components in the design and delivery of solutions.
- Document and communicate required information for the deployment, maintenance, and support of business functionality.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of experience in software development and 3+ years of experience in SQL Development.
Technical Skills: - Demonstrable experience with Oracle database development (manual and automated).
- Knowledge of Java, Shell, and Spring Boot is required.
- Experience with JUnit for testing is necessary.
- Familiarity with platform tools such as Jenkins, Git, JFrog Artifactory, Splunk, or RHEL is expected.
- Proficiency in packaging and deploying services via WAR files and integrating with downstream systems via RESTful and SOAP interfaces is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree is preferred.
- Experience with Cloud technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- A solid understanding of containerization principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $65.06 per hour.
